A bit of a rabid, irrelevant overreaction from a chelsea fan. Nothing new there then. He wants to leave and is openly saying as much. Some of his quotes in that article are damning. Since Lampard left coupled with JT's impotence within the club following his racist remarks, there's no heart or pride left in the group of mercenaries at Chelsea. Fabregas, Hazard, Costa, Courtois... it all adds up.
All the wumming aside, it's clear for all to see that Chelsea FC is a club in complete tatters. Mad Dog has reaped what he has sown, by letting players rule the roost and making sacrificial scapegoats of manager after manager, one of whom is likely to win the league with a side that cost less to assemble than Chelsea's bench! It wouldn't have been so bad if the players were Chelsea through and through, but they are not, they are a bunch of out and out mercenaries, who couldn't give a flying **** about what happens to the club. They only care about their egos and their fat pay-cheques. It must be an absolute hell-hole being in that Chelsea dressing room, at this point in the club's history. That is not good news for CFC, since who the hell but other out and out mercenaries will want to go and play there? It's a vicious circle, but one that Mad Dog has brought upon the club. No true blue Chelsea fan can still believe in Mad Dog. He has failed them miserably.
Completely agree but would also add the Chelsea fans are just as culpible as Roman. When the world and his wife were telling them to hold on to the youth development, bring players through who had some affinity to the club, they laughed and called everyone jealous Pure hubris is what it was. Chelsea's squad needs a major overhaul. Too many of their players are past it or are mercenaries. It will be a difficult transition period for them as they have no European football to offer and their new manager can't start work til mid July. Worst run club in the PL.
