Micheal Laudrup....it is quite unbeleivible isnt it !! Swans in the Prem league...just unreal, and it still hasnt quite sunk in that we are here. Michu,Ki,pablo, chico and JDG for a grand total of Joe Allens transfer fee !! its just ****ing insane guys ..<laugh>

Micheal Laudrups signings have turned out to be the main reason and hope for our prem survival, i think looking at rodgers at Liverpool he is trying to impliment the same steady approah that at times limited us greatly last season. They have gerrard and surez to bang a goal in when things are tight but we would have had nothing like that this season with brenden at the helm.

Look at the qaulity of Caulker and Gylfi, we all thought we were gonna struggle very badly without these boys but Laudrup just calmly replaced for a fraction of the cost ,contacts and prestige are still one of the biggest commoditys in football, we have both of those with Laudrup, Brenden has pretty much used his limited pool of contacts up and has no pull in the game what so ever, this was ok in the ccc but in the prem league he is pretty much ****ed IMO.

The team spirit seems to be growing in our side too, the old guard is firmly pushed aside now (gower, tate, monk) and the likes of britton, ash, dyer and rangel are the conduit from the past linked to the future, it was great to see pablo and dyer's reaction to each other for the goal the other night by giving each other the credit and a big hug, its only a small thing i know but to me it says alot about how the team is bonding and growing into one entity.

Laudrup has had a really difficult start to life as Swans manager, the luck of the Irish meant injury was not an issue last year,if it was then im not sure how we would have coped with the squad we had,and we would have struggled badly IMO. ML has just rolled with the punches and done his best to solve the problems when they crop up, make no mistake, losing Taylor was absolutly MASSIVE !! i shudder to think how much better we would be right now with him fighting fit and bombing down the flanks!! Vorm,Chico, rangel suspended, chico suspended, ash carrying injury its all been very difficult to manage especially in your first few months in a new team and league.

We have alot to be thankful for with Laudrup, its still early days i know, but it was heartning to see 99% of all supporters totally back ML when stories of player unrest surfaced, that was very important and the fans can take great credit for that,if there was any thought of the players getting above themselves then they now know what the fans think about !!

I hope and pray he can keep us up,if he does that then i think he can progress the team even further, we will become a La Liga hybred !! a perfect path to follow for all spanish players that want to try the prem league!!
I honestly beleive the likes of a Fabrigas, who love us by the way ,would actually consider a loan move to Swansea for a few months if needed, thats how much we could progress, of course im not saying we can ever be in the market for that ilk of player but i am saying that we are firmly on the map when it comes to how the top players look at the Swans these days, they liked us when Brenden was here, they LOVE us with Laudrup at the helm!!

Thats because we have no idea how much of a legend the guy is over in Spain, that is a massive advantage to us and its probably enough to give us a steady stream of talent when the vultures come knocking in the summer. He is regarded as one of the best ever to have played over there and he is still young enough for the current millionaire generation footballer to remember, he still is highly thought of in Barca AND Real Madrid and if a loan player is needed its nice to know he could walk the corridors of power at these kind of clubs and command respect and favour.

We are lucky to have him, if he keeps us up and he feels the premier league is not too taxing on his lifestyle and his family settle here and enjoy the area then he may well fancy making us the next FC Twente or Aberdeen or Valencia ie, an unfancied team doing great things with limited resources. We must stay in this League,if he does that his status amongst Jacks will sky rocket even further.

Micheal Laudrup is a Legend, we have been burned in the past and we will be burned again(for whatever reason) but lets give the guy the love non the less, its not everyday we have one of the worlds greatest players managing us,eating in the grape and olive and buying Chicken from Tescos on a Friday night !! :)

Thanks ffs, i think most of us were really happy with <coughs> er, MR Laudrup from day 1 but there was the Sousa undercurrent that did resurface and make us think, personally i didnt think about that but many did.

The fall out from Brenden leaving was rightly massive and the negative energy it mustered was unavoidable, again ,this made it a very difficult start for Laudrup and i will never really forgive some of the Senior players for trying to stab him in the back on the USA tour, luckily it has blown over but it could have been very different if it was a lesser named manager, Laudrup could put his medals on the table and say "try and beat that " knowing that most of the squad would never in a million years be fit to lace his boots, being scandinavian though, confrontation is something they dont really go in for so im guessing that worked out lucky for the players. They might have seen his stand off nature as a sign of weakness though, unfortunatly for them the Vikings are stubburn ****ers and you dont get to play for Juventus,Barca,Madrid and Ajax if your a soft touch!! - lesson learned <laugh>

Dai, don't call me a Trollope or any other name. I don't do it to you even when I disagree with you. It's not my fault than Ian Ayre (Liverpool managing director) confirmed on national tv that Rodgers is the lying bastard that we all thought he was and it was him who wanted Joe Allen and not Dalglish. That is why he suffers the animosity aimed at him.
