2 wins in last 14, Cottager is your countdown untill the end of the transfer window, or till we are in the bottom 3.
According to Jol we are in the relegation battle! Man City 2-0 Fulham Fulham manager Martin Jol: "To concede in the second minute is a horrific scenario. At 1-0 down it could have been a horrible day. After they scored we did better, but the final ball wasn't great. If you want something here at Man City you need a bit of luck and quality, but we couldn't find that special moment. That was disappointing. "We could have hurt them because they didn't score their second until the 70th minute and this wasn't Man City at their best. We are already sucked into a relegation battle. To have gained points here today would have been a bonus, but we couldn't. "David Silva was the best player on the pitch and he was fantastic, a quality player. "There are eight of nine of us down there in the relegation battle, and we need four or five wins."
With two wins from the last 15 it might be a bit of an ask for 4 or 5 from the same number that are coming up, especially given that we have to play Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal all at home - can't guarantee anything from them, which leaves us 4 home games to beat West ham, QPR, Stoke and Reading, or 7 away games (including Spurs, Newcastle and Everton) to get an extra couple of wins - and we all know how often we come away with 3 points from someone else's ground. Might make 5 but we'll be pushing it a bit, I think, unless our form picks up. Fingers crossed.
