First off, a superb result yesterday. Exactly the sort of spirit I'm sure we were all looking for after our capitulation against Liverpool. So, the countdown is now on. What to do with our squad? Saw some team spirit today that ( if the media are to believed ) did not exist. Yes must trim our wage bill, but who goes and who do we bring in, especially as we are no means safe? Would you move to QPR if relegation is a distinct possibility? Lets use Joe cole as an example ; Hammers bound it seems. Now, I was pretty apathetic about this potential signing, but just as on a night out you would get the hump if your mate pulled a bird you were after ( even if you didnt really fancy it ), its the principle of getting gazumped. I have very lowly expectations for this transfer window, but am hoping that we might, just might get away with it. I suspect though that it is going to be an epic case of gamble or bust. Hold on to our collective hats for a roller coaster ride from now until May!
Surrey...we really didn't want Joe Cole...expensive wages, no desire to fight. Look at this way....Like pulling a posh girl, who doesn't fancy you just because you have an orange Wednesday ticket....she would walk out on you after the popcorn has gone. (you'll be the one giggling at you mate on Thursday)
