    Mike White ‏@mikewhitesport
Cllr Stephen Parnaby putting forward a motion on Wed for East Riding of Yorkshire Council to offer full backing to #hcafc owner Assem Allam.

    Mike White ‏@mikewhitesport
Cllr Parnaby's belief is 50% of #hcafc pass holders come from the East Riding & AA should receive their full backing in running the club.

    Mike White @mikewhitesport
Not clear what Cllr Parnaby means by full backing at this stage. @DaveHarrison43 & @RadioHumberside news team following it up. #hcafc

A pathetic way to get back at HCC for the attempted boundary move, or trying to get AA onside in an attempt to get him to build a new stadium in Melton?

Whatever the rights and wrongs at least he supports City unlike most councillors in Hull. Of course if he is suggesting we should support the name change he can get ****ed.

He's obviously as in tune with the events at City regarding the name change as he was about the need for his daft referendum. <laugh>

Cllr Parnaby says he personally supports Allam in his endeavours, including the name change & says a stadium move is Mr Allam's decision.

To be fair, it could work well, moving City to Melton at the same time as Melton comes to Hull.

Shock horror! It's nothing to do with revenue...Allam is a liar...politicians are liars...

When will the ALLAM OUT chants start?

When will CTWD man up and oppose the current regime?

I've never known the people of Hull being taken for such mugs. Wake up everyone...your football club is a political pawn. We demand better.

So: that begs the question - Will all those who say it doesn't matter if Hull City becomes Hull Tigers as they'll "always call the club Hull City", still call it HULL if the club does (ever) move to Melton?

    Which one PLT?

I can't wait for twatface Allam to come out and says he'll move the club out of Hull. (he's already done it once).

He's moved one major part of the club out of Hull already.

    Tick tock...

What do you think, Chazz? It'd be 'Melton Tigers' wouldn't it?

I would oppose any movement outside of the Hull boundary for Hull City AFC. If it did happen...then yes I would still go. However, it will never happen as we all know.

I would never ever get involved in a political debate on this forum,as that is against the rules, and i am a firm believer, in the old adage, rules are rules. For this very reason,it would be remiss of me to suggest the good Dr, would ever dream of 'donating' monies to any politician,in return for support of any of his personal endeavours,or that Dr Allam has any previous in such.

So i won't be going there.
