https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cambridgeshire-45904674 Unfortunately it's Posh, and Peterborough City Council, well unless you're a Posh fan in which case it's not unfortunate at all and is in fact awesome news. I can't pretend it's been easy for Posh to get it back, but it shows what's possible when BOTH sides aren't a bunch of ****s. One day mebbe this will be us. Dare to dream.
I'm not sure it's that important that a club owns it's ground. The talk around ours is always about developing it as a joint venture, which if it happens would be great regardless of who ultimately owns it.
I just hover over the title to see what it's about, so I could see the potential clickbait element. Whether it's good for a club to own a ground may depend on whether you have good owners who can be trusted or not.
I guess it depends on the club and where it is. In Posh's case, the owners certainly think owning it will mean they can push on to the next level, so its hugely important to them. In the case of ours, its uncertain what development would be permitted, and there's the added complication of the egg chasers sharing it, plus of course it's history and how it came to be in the first place. This might surprise you but I have little respect for HCC, so for me, #anyonebutHCC
Course he can. The sheer power of a fart an arse that size can produce is equivalent to a bee's little wings keeping that heavy body in flight.
can anyone develope walton street? i was told its common land or something like and cannot be developed?
