**** sake What happened? Before Tuesday we had scored in all but one league game under NP. Now we honestly don't look like scoring. The first problem is why the **** is Nugent playing on the wing? We know he's a striker. He knows he's a striker. Pearson knows he's a striker. Round pegs in square holes. Drop Beckford, Nugent up top, Marshall on the wing, King in the 'free role'. Do or die now. Nothing but 9 points from the next three games. Massive opportunity today. Such a shame.
the pro's of the season? We have a fantastic manager now in place who will move our club in the right direction of hungry players who are improving so when we go up we are in a position to succeed- ie norwich not big name QPR. Jeff Schlupp is improving. King will be back under a manager who can get the best out of him Nigel can get a full pre-season under his belt. The core of our squad is good enough- Kasper, SSL, Morgan, Pelts?, Konch, Danns, King?, Nugent, Marshall, Dyer. We know what we lack We will no longer get all the press attention that we got under Sven. I just hope our damage hasnt already been done when it comes to overinflated prices and no business done with us.
What an anti climax the end of the season is proving to be. We should be thankful that we won't go up this year as we are clearly not ready for the PL.
Play offs are 100% dead. Now we need to try things out and start the give people like Liam Moore, Jeff Schlupp, Tom Kennedy, Tom Hopper and other players a chance. People like Howard and Wellens should be gone in the summer and we shouldnt waste this opportunity to try out younger players and so if fringe players are good enough to stay. We know what people like Lee Peltier, Paul Konchesky, David Nugent, Lloyd Dyer and Jermaine Beckford bring now so others should get a chance.

Agreed. Anything we do now with team selection should be with a view towards next season. And as a gesture to the fans, start cutting the price of tickets for the remaining home games! Effectively our pre-season starts now.
