Than Blackpool? Everyone is saying we have ability to better what Blackpool done in the Premier last season playing the same type of football but with a meaner defence. Does everyone show the same optimism that we will do the unthinkable and stay up?
Definitely without a doubt I think we as a club can hold our own in the prem yes we are going to have some difficulties along the way but even the man utd & chelsea's have these, and in buck we have a manager who I think could make us a consistent performing premiership club if we can start the season well, I think we could go to arsenal in sept unbeaten imagine that hey
We are without doubt a better all round side than blackpool. their team was thrown together late on by Holloway. I must admit they played some entertaining stuff. But i feel that we have more chance of remaining in the promise land than they did. Pure and simple down to the organisational skills of our brilliant young manager coupled with his ability to find a gem or two.
I think we can stay up. January will be crunch time with the transfer window open and so on..... trying to strengthen our team a little more for the Crazy final games we have.....Holloway also mentioned that he didn't prepare his squad and have enough backups....... so i think it will be crucial to get some more players in the squad for us..... im sure though with Buck having experience with a Prem team.... he'll know what he has to do to prepare for the challenge!
I think if we stay brave and stick to our principles,plus another dominant centre half we really could surprise a few people
I think a massive point is though......... Lets keep the style we have and not loose it when under pressure but work more with it.
With the team weve got iff we can strengthen our defence enough i can see us in the top 8 . iff not survival will do nicely anyway we can get it !.
We have the nucleus of a very decent side but it will be tough playing against teams that are better than we have been used to facing who sometimes only need one opportunity to score. If we can continue to improve by making certain quality additions to our squad whilst keeping hold of our best players then we should be ok.
