lost his pace and can not change his game. every time he gets the ball all the pace in the attack just evaporates. shame.
He is finished. Lacks the hunger and desire to be a top level footballer now. If I was Chelsea I'd try and use him as bait for Falcao.
If anyone has any rockets left from Nov 5th one up his arse might work, but failing that nope I've now given up on him. I gave him the benefit of the doubt for a very long time but enough is enough.
This. I was behind him, and thought Roman bought well in order to get a fluid midfield that could provide him with scoring opps. I was wrong on both counts...class midfield but they want to pass it through the opposition, and Torres is not suited to that and apparently unable to adapt his game, even for £200k a week. Sell, sell, sell.
I love Nando... But he doesnt cut it anymore... We have been overly patient, i will be both happy to see him go so the team can progress, but sad as i reckon we have grown love him over 2 seasons.
Last season, he was at least playing well and working hard, just missing the goals. Seems to have completely lost interest recently. Strange - possibly wants out of England now?
For me he doesn't have the strength of character to be a top player anymore. Head drops too easy and gets bullied on the pitch. Compare that to Drogba... Only deal I can see that might save face is the Falcao one but we'd probably end up paying half his wages for the next couple of year too. Disaster signing? Not far short (save for that goal in Barca of course).
