Could the NUFC Squad be considered "full"?

It's a serious question. I am just wondering why we seem to be plodding aimlessly along while the likes of Liverpool, Southampton and Swansea attack the transfer market openly and aggressively. Putting aside the obvious answer (Charnley's a hapless cnting fckwit), I wonder if the board have to operate to previously-used mandates of "purple" players and as such on paper our squad is more or less at capacity? First team players we have today, regardless of aptitude, are as follows:

GK x 3 (Krul, Elliot, Darlow)
RB x 1 (Janmaat)
LB x 3 (Haidara, Dummett, Ferguson)
CB x 6 (Colo, Willo, Saylor, Lascelles, Good, Satka)
RM x 2 (Sissoko, Obertan)
LM x 4 (Cabella, Marveaux, Aarons, Sameobi)
CM x 6 (Anita, Colback, Tiote, Vuckic, Abeid, Bigi)
Forwards x 6 (Cisse, De Jong, Perez, Gouf, Riviere, Arma)

That's 31 players. Even taking out the likes of Bigi, Vuckic, Marv, Ferguson, Good and Satka who didn't feature for the club at all last season, we're still at 25 which in Charnley's baldy tw@t head is capacity.

Do you think there's the insane possibility that the powers at be need to actually sell one of these useless fckers before we actually think about investing?

 

Remember those who are under 21 don't need to be included in your squad size as they don't need to be registered. So 25 seniors max at 21 and over can be registered to your league squad, Any seniors who won't be registered are pointless keeping.

Notice West Ham have signed Payet for £10m from Marseille. Second major signing of the Summer after Obiang. In spite, of course, of the transfer window not being open yet. Marseille must be fuming that he's pictured having a medical and holding up a hammers shirt when he can't actually be sold. Unless perhaps this "transfer window isn't even open" is actually a pile of horse sh!t.

 

I think this is the basis of the squad with asterisks indicating players who are being/should be moved on which I make 23 players but 6 to move. This tally's up with the idea of at least 6 new faces coming in although i have no idea where that number came from? the press or the club?

Might be wrong but I think maybe Lacelles and Perez are in the catergoy of U21's?

Either way we could still add another 2 players without losing anyone...ha....hahaha

I can see where you're coming from and it does make sense to some extent.
Of the 25 you have remaining, Armstrong, Aaron's and Lascelles will be classed as U21, Sammy will be gone bringing it down to 21. I think Elliot will go, with Woodman being 3rd choice keeper, reducing to 20. Any sales of the likes of Willo, etc. will give more scope to bring players in.

As it stands , the squad can be increased by at least four players over the age of 21, without anyone else being moved out, so Charnley can't use the 25 squad rule as an excuse. It's bullshit in reality.

Thought this 25 player thing didn't count those who'd come through our youth set up. That being the case the following wouldn't count.

In truth, Rolando, I agree, the squad will basically be full as the higher ups see it.

Notice how NUFC don't work on weekends either, by the way, and we still can't appoint a 28 year old Assistant Manager. They have one week on Tuesday til the fans forum - wonder how that's going to pan out.
