Just thinking on the pending arrival of Milanic, most seem to agree Redders should still have an input into first team affairs. Would it be feasible to act as number two to Milanic and continue youth academy work. Ive no idea how time consuming either job would be so maybe someone in the know can advise. Would seem an ideal setup to me

If Milanic is the new Manager, I hope he talks to Redders to ensure no immediate changes, or at least nothing too revalutionery

Given how well Redfearn's done over the past few weeks and how highly Cellino regards him, I'd be amazed if it isn't stipulated in Milanic's contract that Redfearn has to be involved in the first team in some capacity. The players seem to really like him and they respond to him, and if Milanic and Cellino possess an ounce of shrewdness they'd capitalise on that whilst Milanic adapts to the country, the league and the players.

Cellino has already stated that Redders will remain involved with the First Team when the new man comes in ... he feels Redders is the link between the Academy and the Seniors, and wants to maintain this while Redders continues to work on developing talent ... expect to see Redders in the dugout on match days ... the big difference between Redders and Hock is that the dross has been ignored, and players like Austin suddenly found there is competition for places

I think its more that Redders has found a role for Austin that suits him. Basically, he let's Austin do what he wants & ensures that others cover for the fact that Austin won't always be back behind the ball quickly enough or that if he's powering forward, there are plenty of people up supporting him
