There is talk on these boards that legal action is being taken by a Swan against a Cardiff member. . If we are going down this road I can't see how not606 can continue.

Wtf? Don't know anything about this but people do get sued or prosecuted for Twitter comments and that's still going strong. Why would it end the forum? Bit melodramatic?
Legal action is the ultimate censorship, how can people post with this hanging over their heads, you'll have to have all comments looked over by a legal team, otherwise those who run not606 could be thought to condone things.

I hadn't heard of this as well, shocking if true but I don't think it will mean the rest of us need to be careful, we just continue to refrain from using any sensitive words that we know the law is hunting for. In other words, we just carry on.
I hope this is just that, talk of legal action is not funny and if it is a send up I think Musty should apologise to both boards.
It was brought up (on a Swans thread) that a man was successfully prosecuted for using the term pikie whilst having an arguement with a night club owner. Apparently this now means the term pikie is classed as a racist. It is not clear whether or not the offended party was in fact from the traveller community. I have asked that people here refrain from using these terms as some people can be offended by it. As for the legal action threat, it may be real or hot air, but I have no knowledge of this action or the person instigating it.
