Could Jose be even better round this time. Title challenge with Torres up top.

Topping the league with a £10m net spend. Could anyone else in world football have rebuilt our unbalanced squad so quickly??

And so cheaply on a wage bill less than Arsenal's and far less than city and United..

    Greatest manager ever???

Jose 2 is better in every way except one. He's not as funny this time. I can put up with that no problems, but I miss the craziness of Jose 1. Maybe he needs to bring back "The Coat " ??

He certainly has rejigged the squad to function as he wants but it's basically a reallocation of the vast funds already spent at the club.

All a bit early for this kind of praise, he's made some very good signings and you've started very well but he's also benefiting a lot from the good signings before he arrived which have allowed you to continue spending big on certain players. Without valuable sales like Mata, Lukaku, Luiz and De Bruyne he'd have been left in a much tougher position in the transfer market, equally signings like Courtois, Cahill, Schurrle, Oscar, Azpilicueta and the like bought before he signed have given him much less squad issues than he might have had.

We'll see how good your squad is if you start getting a lot of injuries. Arsenal fans thought they had a fantastic squad until recent injuries showed how light in quality they are in certain areas. And lets not forget Benitez got top 4 and a trophy despite playing some 70 games with the squad Mourinho inherited so hardly a patchy squad to start with.

London - your meant 'Torres NOT up top' or 'DC up top' in your first line.

As far as your last line is concerned - Jose is THE best ever in imho.

I think we all get better with age, jose's no exception.

Best manager ever? not at this time but as long as he goes how he's going, at 70 it will be indesputable. hopefully if what he says is true that will be great news for CFC
