****ing scumbag, hope he breaks his leg in training.

No self respecting club should be allowed to take a vile person like this on.

I can't believe they have a petition with 60,000 signatures saying they want him to play

Almost 60,000 have signed a petition addressed to Kevin McCabe, the club's chairman, urging him not to resign Evans.

    NOT to resign him <ok>

I've said this plenty of times when Marlon King came out of jail, when Nile Ranger came out of jail, and I'll say it now that Ched Evans is out of jail.

What they did is unforgivable, but I don't want to support anyone that believes that someone shouldn't be able to work in football because of a previous conviction. The people that peddle that kind of nonsense are the same people that call for nurses to get footballers' wages. They have a reaction without putting even the most minute bit of thought behind their words.

Like it or not, but Ched Evans is one of a select group of people that is good at football. Like it or not, but people pay big money for people that can play football well. Criminal convictions mean next to nothing for people at this level in their profession. If a top CEO were to go down for a few years they'd most definitely leave jail and land a job elsewhere, because they are of a select group of people with proven ability to run a company. If there is money then these things mean very little.

A footballer will leave jail and will find a club right away if they are still capable of playing. Deal with it. In my mind he's served the time that was sentenced to him. He'll be booed wherever he goes from now on, but it's up to him to turn his life around and to possibly do some good with his freedom.

If he does get out and play (no chance) he'll be in no physical or mental condition

That's a relief - I thought the world had gone mad!!

On Enders point about serving his time - I get that. However, when it's a professional footballer who is on tv, spare a thought for the victim (and her family) who will see him
