You aint kidding mate. Unless Bruce knows that Turner is only a few days or a week or so away form coming back, it makes no sense to sell Anton.

If O Shea is out for 2 or 3 weeks (if its a muscle tear or strain I bet it wont be far off) and Turner is weeks away, then we are back to the bit part players scenario again which is plain daft.

Hopefully the injuries are not too bad and we can get them back ASAP.

They will have to get round his enormous arse first mate. Lol

I'm okay with Bramble if he is alongside Brown. Bramble is a decent defender IMO and physically will relish the game v an 'ageing' Drogba.

Brown will have the experience to contain Torres.

What the **** we will do with the rest of them is anyones guess though. Lol

Is Bardo fit for Saturday? Because if not our back four will be something like..

Elmo - Brown - Bramble - Richo

I'll be honest, considering I can't remember the last time Bramble played a full competetive match, and elmo and richo are crap, that does not fill me with confidence <yikes>

lets be honest here though, before the season started, if we had Anton in the defence against Chelsea, we would all be bricking it, its amazing what a good few games can do for a player.

Also Bramble was a rock the early part of last year, cant really bame him for the 5-1 even though he didnt help with getting sent off, but after that he was immense, then he gets injured and its "Oh no, not Bramble".
