Shame it’s stopped. Not sure it’ll be down to things like energy costs, despite the no doubt exhaustive investigative journalism from HDM It obviously had years off due to covid and I know it was really hard work for the organisers, who I think were all volunteers. They’ll all be a few years older and doing different things. Having said that the general cost of living might be an issue because most people will be too busy trying to earn extra, which might impact on being able to spend voluntary unpaid time on something. Local bands in Social every Saturday now though so one musical door closes and another one opens if you do care enough to step through it.
