A bit of a clear out at the moment , this will free up valuable recources. Hard to believe that he was until very recently our most expensive player .shows we're the the big league now. Funny how you get used to talking in millions rather than thousands

It's a shame it never worked out for him as I was quite excited about him when we signed him but he never seemed to show the pace which could compete with Sincs, Dyer or Routledge. He's a good dead ball specialist though, I remember a fantastic freekick he scored under Sousa against Peterborough I think. We won that game 2-0 I think which was a novelty in the 0-0 or 1-0 days of Sousa. I think the second goal took the people opperating the scoreboard by surprise as well as it took an age for them to put it on the board. They were probably getting ready to go home not expecting us to score another <laugh>. Best of luck to Cotts though <ok>

Btw neveroffside. I see you're in Fareham, I'm temporarily living in Old Portsmouth at the moment. I think Fareham is near by isn't it?

Thank you and goodbye. I am sure he will find a club at his level. Lower Championship, upper ends of League 1. Never really been that fond of him. He seemed to run up blind alleys and flattered to deceive. Never going to be good enough for the Prem.

He had one of the worst Performances in a swans shirt in recent years. In his effort at leicester away in january. He gave the ball away on every occassion. He even managed to take 2 throw ins and even then threw them to a leicester player.

Still he was one of ours and i wish you luck for the future.

Yea it is a shame for Him.
    Union Jack, good post.
I remember his goal against.......Leicester I think in the cup...The 30 yard screamer. Was an incredible goal.
I thought he was a decent player.
But it does seem what we are saying about him now, in terms of work rate and what not is kind of what the Sheffield UTD fans were saying when we got him from them.

It is a lot of money, Sousas players haven't really hit the mark.

    Beattie
    Lopez
    Donnely

I think he got Taylor, but I do wonder how much of that signing was huw Jenks...Similer to Donnely, in that, they wanted a new young, motivated type of player. I seem to recall Jenks was talking about that quite a lot at some point

Thought I'd passed a station called Fareham on that long journey to and from Swansea <laugh>, Fratton isn't as bad a place as the snobs in Old Portsmouth make out. I haven't had a chance to visit Fratton park yet but I hope to go and see a match at some point. It's occurred to me, is there a Sainsbury's in Fareham? If so I've been there <laugh>

Good luck to your lad, I hope he makes it and signs for the Swans and becomes a super star winning the Balon d'or 3 times <cheers>

Union, he would love to play for The Swans. Not to keen on playing for Pompey, cringes everytime he puts the kit on. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

There is a Sainsbury in Fareham not too far from me.

Funny enough I was in Fareham just before Christmas having a coffee in Costa's and I spotted a someone walking past in a Swans shirt. Don't get many Swans fans down my way.
