Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cotterill said.....:
"If it hadn't been for David James we might have won by three of four goals. I won't say what I called him as we were leaving the field. He has been magnificent today. Marcus Tudgay could easily be walking away with the match ball for scoring a hat-trick. We have failed to score again, but not through poor finishing. And there were a lot of positives for us."
Nice spin for the Nottingham public - sadly, a complete work of fiction which as the saying goes,
"bears no resemblance to any football match both real or fictional"
I did have a lot of time for the bloke but not since I've heard some of the stuff he's come out with since he went to Forest. They were comfortably the worst side I have seen at the Gate for a long time and if we had played like we did against Southampton, it would have been a cricket score....
