Cotterill has recently managed clubs like Portsmouth, Burnley and Nottingham Forest and earlier this week he was unveiled as the new manager of Bristol City, but he got his first chance in management with Sligo, from 1995-96. "There was a 65-year-old fella there who used to stay behind in the dressing room to clean up after us when we had all gone home," Cotterill said of his time at the Showgrounds. "I didn't think it right that he should be left to do that on his own, so I used to stay behind and help him wash everything down and clean stuff away. "Then I'd drive him home and buy him a bag of chips on the way. "I like to be hands on, I like to get to know people and I like to learn about a club from top to bottom." I love that last bit, sounds a good bloke.. http://www.herald.ie/sport/soccer/cotterill-to-call-on-his-sligo-experience-29816474.html
Tough game in prospect. Tamworth have nothing to lose and after our loss away to Crawley a couple of years ago we need to really be up for this one. Time for you over paid, pampered, and preening bunch of losers and underachievers to show us that you're worthy of the shirt
