Amid the usual stories about the hundreds of superstars joining Chelsea next season, now there's a story about one leaving. Diego Costa "hates" London allegedly, is homesick and wants to go back to Spain with Luis. This report is on ESPN, BBC etc not the usual Mirror, Sun and Daily Mail. "No way" says Jose, but we all know what happens when someone really wants to go. What would we do without him and who else are we looking at ? All that aside, he looked happy enough today in Sydney where 10,000 fans turned up to training. More media bollocks? I hope so.
May well be some truth in it but the reality is Atletico aren't going to pay the 50 odd million it would cost to buy him. So unless they want to give us say Koke and Godin in return, can't see how this can happen.
They won't need to pay 50million. They will tempt you with many defenders and won't be able to resist.
Revealed as bullshit. Interview with Costa on the Chelsea site ‘It’s really good to come in the first season and win two things,’ he said. ‘It’s really important and next year I’ll be ready to come back and hopefully win a couple more trophies.’ Finally, he was asked to comment on news reports suggesting he was unhappy in England. ‘[It is] quite a simple answer,’ he said. ‘It’s always a bit more difficult in the first season for adaptation, but I have no reason to leave this place, I love it, the fans love me and I want to stay.’ http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2015/06/chelsea-tv-exclusive--diego-costa-down-under.html
Guillem Ballague has also dismissed this as tabloid nonsense and confirmed what I said above that AM couldn't;t afford him.
Of course he doesn't to leave. What with his brother, Fabregas also playing for the club. Costa is the (significantly) older one and is aware that we treat the elderly far better than the corruption loving Spanish.
Think you are confusing "We" with Indians and Moslems, the ones who don't throw their parents in old folks homes first chance they get
