Hopefully there is a photo with this post, but I've not added one before, so I'll just hope for the best. I went to Old Trafford this week for a mate's birthday to watch Man U vs QPR. Imagine my surprise when I saw this little beauty of a shirt for sale in the Man Utd Megastore...pure saints merchandise. Anyone else reckon the Don has contacts at Nike who said they'd sneak a Saints design into the United shop so the tourists will buy this shirt, go back to their countries and hence increase the popularity of the Saints brand worldwide??? Really just wanted to share my good fortune of finding what looks like it could be Saints merch in another clubs shop...has anyone seen anything like this before?
There is literally nothing on there to suggest it may be a man utd shirt...clearly great product placement by the don lol
I think the message on the shirt is to show saturdays (i.e. football) are holy days. but given that over half of games are on sundays/mondays nowadays in the EPL, it makes even less sense. but red and white stripes like the 125 anniversary shirt - priceless!
Reminds me if we reach the premier league will match shirts cost more? Looking forward would to getting one with the number 7 and Markus on the back Hope they don't cost to much like a Manu shirt! :/
I think its the Glazers master plan to boost retail sales when thousands of saints fans descend on old trafford for their home game!
