Nah, they clearly have made the decision for a reason, and it was not a good channel. I can watch Family Guy/American dad on FX if I ever fancy taking a one-in-five chance that it'll be a funny episode, and if I want to watch Russell Howard's Good News I can just cut out the middle man and sort YouTube by all time most viewed.

People think they can petition anything nowadays.

Then you also get the benefit of not having that annoying man cracking **** jokes.

**** BBC3.

A mere child but oh what a cynical user name for one so young. That should be CBK's or my user name.

I wanted to reply to this sooner but I have to check my facebook/ twitter/ emails/ update my blog every 30 seconds.

If the BBC have to make cuts, which is what they say, then what would you propose they cut first? My vote would definitely be for BBC3.

Matt Lucas and Jack Whitehall say it's going to be detrimental for new comedy, but I'm pretty sure those two don't know what comedy is. This is what happens when British comedies are so consistently ****. They get binned.

I agree with Joe that most stuff on BBC 3 is ****e. It's also not as though BBC 3 is being totally shut down either. It won't be a TV channel any more but it will still be online, and its target audience is the most likely demographic to access programmes via the internet.

BBC4 is not needed either.

They should move Family Guy etc to BBC2, cut some of the crap on that as well.
