But have we scored directly from a freekick in the league this season? I know Raylor has in the cup, but I can't remember it happening in the league.

  2. Nope and we should stop trying to shoot from free kicks, we've got good threat in the air from Colo, Shola, Nolan, Willo and Saylor, we should try and work the ball in.

Barton has came close but none apart from Raylor as you say, I dont mind Barton having a dig if its in a good position, but as tash says we're mainly better off with a ball into the box for the big guns.

Barton is capable of whipping em in. Seem to remember Guthrie scoring one last year too didnt he? (I might be completely making that up)

We have the players capable, but I cant really remember us being in the position to have a shot from the free kick. Barton always goes for the cross with the likes of Willo, STaylor & Nolan in the box.

Our free-kicks annoy me. We get in great positions and have had a few in recent games but Barton just goes for the curler, BLAST IT!!!

You didn't wave your leg in the air to let me know where you were Badger, I was going to take a pic of you.

Got some with L7 in but not sure if you'd recognise yourself in them. I could crop them and blow the section you're in up a bit.

Hope you enjoyed the game. I was very pleased with the way things went. Only pity was that I got into town too late to try and meet up with Mick O'Toon.

I always think, "oh **** sake, a direct freekick" expecting it to go out for a goal kick 90% of the time. We need to just hit it wide then cross it or something like that, as tash says, take advantage of our players that are good in the air.

My shins are sore after that, especially as I have been on my feet all night at work.

Me and Tom have been looking in your general direction to see where you sit, I presume you are on the second level of the Gallowgate? How many rows up?

Back row of the lower tier. Just to the right of the goal as you look at it.
