Buz on the pitch yet barton taking set pieces???. Watched on the internet so my opinion may not be as true as those who went but to me we had organisation but no desire or passion! We won very little second balls which are vital in dictating play and swp seems to have one of the worst first touches in premier league football. barton for me is about 80 grand overrated as a footballer. you see players week in week out who can do what he can. we didn't deserve to win but we didn't deserve to lose by a decision like that. Taraabt, please hurry back! We need some class!

Very strange decision - Barton (as usual) was absolutely terrible from our set pieces.

Our set pieces were just awful, just not Prem standard. Come to think of it i really can't think at what standard that display would be accepted. The only positive is that it was not a league match. I think we will have to accept a few more false dawns from this team before the end of the season and every odd game we are going to be reminded of how poor most of our team and squad are. I really can't get over Barton. He is just not the player he was. He seems to have lost all his bite and agression in the tackle. He looks so so average, and SWP even worse.

Barton shouldn't be allowed near another set-piece ever again!

I couldnt believe that Barton was still on set piece duty. Buz is thousands of times better.

Maybe it was to save Bus's achiles I heard he was having problems with? Or perhaps MH really did want us to go out so we could concentrate on staying up, but did not dare play a reserve team against Chelsea for all the stick he would get?

I suspect Barton knows the world thinks him a **** and probably feels that he might as well take the money whilst he can. The fact that he's at Loftus Road is because even Stoke wouldn't have him. He'll know there's little chance of a payday elsewhere and a game in a mediocre side like ours is practically guaranteed until we sign somebody in midfield that gives a flying.

Barton and SWP are going to be nooses around our necks for years like Agyemang, Vine, Rowlands and Cook are now.

    Thanks Neil.
