Government does annoy me when it won't help financially, the whole of Europe could do the same, just write the fooking debt off, print money, do whatever you have to do, if all countries do the same it's a level playing field. It's a world pandemic ffs, we shouldn't be restricted in needs because of the financial sector.

Agreed! I got a concert and hotel booked for the 30th

Concerts even worse I'm guessing as you got no idea what'll happen until the day.

I'm checking my theatre show performances daily and getting some idea on how they're doing. It's not perfect but an indicator at least.

Was going to a gig 11th February in Nottingham, the act has cancelled it today, cancelled his whole UK tour.

Just reading Sky news and thought some might be interested by today's latest figures for the new omicron variant that is running rife through our population and is ovewhelming the NHS.

In Britain, 12 people infected with Omicron have died, while 104 people with the variant are in hospital, according to latest figures from the UK Health Security Agency.

Confirmed cases of the Omicron strain have risen by more than 12,000 in the UK - with London's cases alone topping 10,000 -

Even with the tiny numbers given the size of total population (remember it say's Britain not England) then if a lockdown is required surely it should just be in London where they obviously have no control of themselves.

I know I say this a lot but you’re a phenomenally stupid old git sometimes.

You think the HSA are taking the piss or are Sky reporting wrong?

Neither.

You know for someone who kept emphasising the distinction of people dying with Covid, it's ironic that you've failed to recognise the phrase, risen by more than 12,000.

It's not the total sweetcheeks, that's around 37,000.

fraid the genie's out the bottle, and nuking people in London like some dodgy sequel to Outbreak, just won't do. Soz.

Yeah, it’s not great. It’s a one off gig in their home town so I suspect it won’t be cancelled unless the government cancel it.

Drakeford has curtailed sporting events, so no matches for me over Christmas.

I miss two currently; Luton and Fulham.

Can't say I'm best pleased or agree, there is generaly a maximum of 16k at our games and it's not crammed in by any means.

Theatre's get to carry on though? Which are sat cheek by jowl indoors.

Nice one Mark, made up something random once more. It'll make **** all difference whatsover. Cheers.
