Ps don't worry I've posted it for others who may be reading and maybe giving them an alternative source of information they will not get on mainstream.

Plenty it appears and it’s nothing to do with virology, merely the law.

Aside from the medical profession where there is already precedent for insisting on vaccination for some clinicians - hepatitis. There is no other profession (that I’m aware of) that has vaccination as being an essential prerequisite for employment. Therefore any business wishing to change the contracts of EXISTING employees to make COVID vaccination mandatory as part of their contract of employment, would have to do so with consent i.e. the agreement of the employees concerned. Any attempt at ‘sign or leave’ would result in legal challenge imo.

An employer making COVID vaccination a prerequisite for NEW employees is up to them imo, if you’ve made a decision not to have the jab, then you won’t be applying. Not complicated really.

to be fair to aberdude, there is a build up of some discrimination on people who aren't willing to get jabbed up in some non health industries. Nothing that says no you can't work for us but morgan stanley have already said anyone who isn't fully vaccinated (in the U.S.) are not allowed into the office. You can pretty much bet that anyone applying who is planning on not getting vaccinated won't be hired by them if that is the case.

JPMorgan haven't said the same yet but they've asked their staff to indicate if you've been vaccinated in their database so i think it's safe to assume they may go down a similar road. The reasoning behind all this is they can do away with social distancing if staff are fully vaccinated (dunno if this is a U.S. thing)

That’ll be the US where employee rights are virtually non existent, right? Employers making COVID vaccination a condition of employment for new hires is their choice. I can see a whole load of countries making double vaccination a condition of entry in the coming weeks / months, which is again, their choice. Those choosing not to have the COVID vaccine will no doubt claim it’s discriminatory, but it’s about mitigating risk, they’ve chosen to take that risk, which is their right, but they don’t have the right to expect others to accept the risk they now represent.
