......not a bad diversion.....6000 miles lol fk that
Suez Canal still blocked. It has 20,000 containers onboard as it is known as a supership. Could be days before it's released, as they don't have the capabilities (where it is) to unload a ship that size. They may have to unload fuel, then dredge, if still no luck, they will have to wait until a hide tide at the end of the month. At the moment, shipping companies are ok with it, but may have to start looking at a 6,000 mile diversion.
They charge around $250k a trip to use the Suez Canal. Not sure how many ships a day use it, but that’s some revenue. The Japanese company that owns the ship could be facing a huge bill?
I done a little bit of a read up yesterday, I think 47 ships use to pass through it a day. It says that redevelopment was looking at double that capacity to 99 ships a day. I'm unclear though if that project was completed as it's only increased to 51.5 per day.
That particular ship I believe was on it's way from China to the Netherlands. I assume some of it's cargo would then possibly make it's way to the UK.
From what I understand, the Ships owners has to stick with the reason that the wind blew it in to trouble, otherwise it will be a massive problem with insurers.
I'm not convinced it's predicament occurred though because of 31 mph winds. Surely todays navigational instruments would have made them aware in advance of the weather conditions, especially if those ships are so fragile of that particular wind speed.
Seems to me someone fooked up big time and don't want to admit it.
Maybe make a thread for world's logistics issue's ... coz this is the covid scam thread init.
We don't wanna mess socks thread up do we

Vaccine passports for pubs is mental and I don't think it'll happen.

It's from China, so probably got bat cargo on it, so on the right thread bruv![]()

If it’s left up to the landlords it won’t, because they won’t want to drive away customers.
Well exactly. By the time the pubs open in two weeks only a small percentage of people will have had both jabs, and they're not going to be the demographic of regular pub goers.
Get jabbed or your life will be ****ty.....why don't they just say that?"You're not getting in without a Vaccine passport"
Absolutely no chance of that happening
