As though hospitals haven't already got enough to deal with, I foresee an increase in firework injuries turning up at A&E this year, as public displays will be cancelled, and some idiots really shouldn't be sold them.

Bonfire night has come early to North London. People been letting off fireworks all evening. Either that, or the riots have finally started.

Weekend before the 5th Nov and the weekend after, then on the 14th Nov, Diwali, so probably a good two weeks of them. Not a good time to be working in A&E.
Used to live in Harrow which has a very large Asian community where Diwali was a bigger event than the 5th. But what used to piss me off was the two weeks before and two weeks after was mindless ****toids deciding they want to be different and scare all the pets unnecessarily.

You go to bed, but are still here for hours afterwards each night, plink pliink fizz, Do you wait for your Alka Selza to calm down each night.
Don't die in us Fossie with your nightly frustration. i'd miss you<laugh>

Nope ... but you enjoy the thought that I do. Took a break to watch the France v Ireland second half and then watched recorded Graham Norton and Jonathan Ross shows with the missus with a nice bottle of red. Then back on here to catch-up whilst finishing the wine. Never seem to get indigestion for some reason... and I'm rarely frustrated. Nevertheless, thanks for the good wishes.
