She's fine thanks lads, she had a cough and some tightness in her chest about ten days ago, other than a sporadic cough she's well.

Like a few on here who mentioned that they felt ill and wondered if they've already had it, that may well be the case. I was ill just after the new year and thought it was man flu. I had the hacking cough and felt like crap for a few days and then it subsided. I had a sleight fever but nothing too drastic. Same with my wife a few weeks after. My family ( my wife and two daughters ) have been in isolation for over two weeks and suspect we've all had it.
Hope she’s ok mate

Interesting innit. He says they need to treat people differently, oxygen, but no increasing pressure. Wonder if this video gets taken down?
mmm it's also concerning how tigers are catching this from a human... in that case, surely it would happen both ways? I am no expert on this but I have warned the cat that she is history if true.
On a serious note, Covid -19 is causing many scientists to scratch their heads. It's not like normal flu and this is changing as time goes on.
Bloody Chinese! I bet they are behind this.

Here is what Handjob said

“We have already 3,500 a week of antibody tests at Porton Down and they are the top quality, the best test in the world. We are using those for research purposes to understand how much of the population has had coronavirus.”

Are these people deliberately misleading us and if so, why? Is it too much to ask for a bit of transparancy regarding tests and testing.
Bob. It's par for the course. Add together the possibility for a good news story, total bloody ignorance, someone to spin it for you and a politician and it will happen. He probably believed what he was told and was so grateful to have something positive and 'factual' to say. I doubt he said it deliberately knowing it to be false (just how stupid can you be - then again this is one of the non-runners in the recent leadership contest who had no verifiable skills, qualifications or experience for the top job) but I have no doubt that he was happy to take what he'd been told at face value without asking for validation.

No, they said they needed to be tested first. There was nothing triumphant. They have also only potentially ordered them pending testing.

Johnson stood up in parliament three weeks ago, possibly more, and said that these tests would be imminently available. After that, we were told again and again that we had ordered 3.5 million of them, and yes, they did sound jolly pleased with themselves.

I hope you and you family are all now well, Ninesy. If only people could tell if they've had it or not - that, or a vaccine, is seemingly the only way out of this crazy lockdown.

Does that mean you can’t go out for 14 days? Do you need anyone to bring you essentials?

I'm not sure, we're just having this discussion at the moment. All four of us have been locked away for sixteen days so far and have had no physical contact with anybody in that period.

All the best to you and yours Nines, hopefully past the worst of it...

So he was never actually confirmed as having COVID-19 ?Just that his Dr friends said he had classic symptoms ? (I might of missed the confirmation somewhere so please forgive me)

I don't know. This was about ten days ago, so he might have had a test since. I haven't looked to see if he has confirmed it one way or the other mate. I'll take a look later as things are getting a bit frantic at the moment. Phones going and lots of messages going back and forth.
