    ZERO enforcement.
Example, 4 or 5 station staff at the barriers on the Victoria line. All gassing and/or playing with their mobiles doing NOTHING to countless passengers passing through.
Then at Victoria mainline you are seeing more station staff not wearing the f****** things. It's an absolute farce.

Couldn’t he hire a couple of mates to drive him around? On retainer.

Or am I completely missing the point <laugh>

On average, 22% of secondary school kids are away from school isolating because of Coronavirus.
In some areas the percentage is much higher than that. Some schools have more children away than attending.

    Sorry Prime Minister.
The schools should have been closed during the November lockdown.

One tiny silver lining from the pandemic regarding the film industry...

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-55072897

It might possibly mean the end of the long string of unwatchable 'Superhero Blockbusters' we've been bombarded with for about 15 years now.
I'm sorry if loads of people who worked on these movies might now be out of a job.
But for me, these films really have been utterly pointless garbage.

I'll confess to being something of a sci-fi geek - well, in my younger days a least.
And in more recent years the 'super-hero' genre has tried to wrap itself up in a sci-fi cloak to some extent.
But all we've really seen are splurges of ridiculously excessive special effects (all CGI) which beyond a certain point are utterly boring.

Something not seen by Americans for quite some time...

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/election-us-2020-55080488

A little empathy with those who have lost loved ones from their President.
(or President-elect to be strictly accurate).
So different from the relentless cocksure arrogance of the previous one.
Yes, there are times to be bullish and belligerent at the lectern. But for Trump those times were every time.

I know that Biden's kind of approach in that video clip can sometimes be manufactured. Sometimes as insincere as Trump's battering ram style.
But not in this particular case I think.
The President-elect is appealing to Americans to be as responsible as they can over their Thanksgiving plans.
And telling them he understands how much some of them are hurting right now.

Orpington comes under London. So, I imagine does Petts Wood.

All 32 London Boroughs are in Tier 2.

So we're looking at 2,000 fans allowed to the next Charlton home match, time to prepare permitting.

I'm very happy for whoever gets hold of those tickets.
The 2,000 can sing Thomas Sandgaard's name and get behind the team <ok>

I am in the London Borough of Bexley but I have a Kent address. I have enquired and I am regarded as being in London.

Its a start, but to be honest it won’t be the same until away fans are let back in, and the Covered End is full.

Where I live is within a West London borough, but I have a Middlesex postcode.
    (what tier is Middlesex in?)
I assume my address (physical location) means I'm inside London.

Won't be trying to get a ticket myself though.
Probably far too many with better qualifying status, which is fair enough.
Also I'm a bit vulnerable to the chances of a COVID infection turning serious. Best to stay as safe as possible for a while yet.

I wonder if there are restrictions on who goes into the club shop.
