You've posted several times you think the government are doing a great job, to the extent you even conjured up the imaginary threat of how badly this would pan out if Labour were in charge. The issue is you don't want other opinions, just yours.
For what it's worth, I agree it shouldn't be politicised. But you were applauding Trump for calling it Chinese virus a few pages back. Snd the panic buying was somehow the fault of a group you described as third world sub humanity. Pretty grim stuff. And now you want to switch the tables and accuse me of using politics. Let's be honest you are frothing at the mouth because I am criticising the Tories, yet a few posts back you criticised Labour, who aren't anywhere near power.
In Spsin the government (Socialist) are getting pelted for their slow response to the pandemic. Are you proposing zero responsibility?
To be honest it's tiresome. I posted the response of two papers to the crisis in the NHS. Lardi got it first time. It's not about politics, it's about saving the UK. About guarding nurses and doctors. But off you went spitting vile 'n' vitriol at me for suggesting mistakes were being made. Shot the messenger for the message by all means but check the newspapers. I didn't write those headlines.

Is this what you meant by not being political?
    Or this?

Dorks of the Day ... 3rd April

    :emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash: The Banks :emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash:

Have done everything they can to drag their heels over lending money to struggling small businesses.
    • Demanding homes of business owners as security
    • Insisting that businesses apply (and fail) for regular loans before qualifying for the Government's scheme.
These are the SAME Banks who needed bailing out during the Credit Crunch in 2008.
Not one UK Bank went out of business. The Government helped every Bank that asked for it.
    That's gratitude for you.

But this is a very important thing to remember folks...

This isn't the fault of hard-pushed bank counter staff.
Please be kind to them if you have to go to the Bank, even if you cannot get the Bank to give you the help you need.
Bank branch workers don't make policy at the Banks.
And Bank branch workers are doing an essential job, but a pretty thankless one.
    Please don't abuse them.

Our brave nurses and doctors and all other NHS staff deserve to be forever thanked and treasured for the work they are doing now.
Never again must they be taken for granted.

Those who fall performing their vocational duty must be honoured every year, just as we honour our War dead on Armistice Day.
And those who survive should be hailed as national heroes, and never be short-changed again.

After we have defeated COVID19 we must reinforce our services (paying a lot mote tax if necessary) so we are ready should this ever happen again.
And the odds are it WILL happen again.

We seem to be getting exotic (potentially lethal) viruses coming along roughly once a decade.
Next time we MUST be prepared.

Every NHS worker (and other key worker) who loses their life to Coronavirus because they did their duty should receive the George Cross.
And all of those workers who make it through should receive the George Medal.

I know that might seem like scant consolation to their loved ones right now,
but as far as I know the State cannot honour them more highly.

We have never faced an enemy like this.
    And we are at War.

Checked out the 3 month mortgage holiday and found out you end up paying twice the amount of missed payments - nothing like profiteering out of the people that need help in this crisis! Needless to say I won’t be taking them up on this offer :emoticon-0121-angry

Dorks of the Day ... 4th April

Anybody who believes the absolutely stupid fake news that 5G phone masts spread Coronavirus!!!
How can a mobile phone mast spread a virus?
Anyone believing this must have the intelligence of a jellyfish.

More seriously, apparently somebody is actually going around vandalising 5G phone masts and threatening telecom workers because of this ridiculous notion.
This should be regarded as a terrorist act.

Attacking our Mobile Phone Network in a time of War is a grave offence.
Anybody caught doing it should be sent to prison for a very long time.

    Absolutely unbelievable <doh>

UPDATE: I've heard now this witless rumour was spread by ... Amanda Holden <diva>

Apparently she posted something about it (now deleted) that was picked up by the silly woman's army of followers.
    For pity's sake.:headbang:

I can understand it being an April Fool, but with hindsight it is an irresponsible one.

Unfortunately there is a disturbingly large number of people who will believe anything.

The notion of 5G mobile phone masts spreading Coronavirus is only slightly dafter than the opinion (still held in some quarters) that Roland Duchatelet was a good owner of CAFC.
