Think it was supposed to be the 4 languages of the United Kingdom. English, Welsh, Scots Gaelic and Irish

I was sick when they started to sing that. I was sitting with 3 scousers, all Liverpool fans who are against the Royal Family.
They were all pissing themselves laughing, ‘we booed their anthem yesterday and now they’re singing ours’
You seem to misunderstand the meaning of a 'Constitutional Monarchy'.
The Monarch is merely a symbol and has no real power,
He/She does have some influence, being in a position to ADVISE the Government of the day,
The Government though can, and often has, ignored this advice.
As for The Coronation, it's the second one I've watched.
The first, in 1953 was in very crowded room in a house in Gray Road, on a B&W TV and probably a 10inch screen.
That Service was much longer and there were many more troops and overseas 'dignitaries'.
But it was raining then too.
I found this whole ceremony moving.
The 'Zadok The Priest' music gets me going at the best of times.
Listening to it in it's proper setting was a joy
And like very many other I was vastly impressed by Penny Mordaunt.
I understand the she changed her shoes for flat soled one for the event, sensibly.
She also went in for exercises well beforehand.
The sword is not quite as heavy as it looks, but unlike a standard which is carried in a leather pouch with a shoulder strap, that sword had to be carried by both hands for some time.
She didn't seem to waver at all.
Worth a Damehood
I have a vague recollection that in 1953 there was an elderly gentleman carrying this sword, and he looked rather shaky with it.
I think it MIGHT have been Field Marshall Montgomery.
(It was though a long time ago and I was a bairn!!)
And I would like to congratulate the Security Services, mostly it seems , The Police, for ensuring that the protesters who had threatened to ruin the event, didn't get the chance to fulfil this threat.
While they won't be happy about this I suspect that The Police saved them from some real trouble.
The crowd would, I'm sure, have turned on them, long before they could be rescued.
Britain at it's best.
Many thank for a memorable day to ALL concerned.
why presume i do not understand 'constitutional monarchy'?
it is simply what i (and probably others would like to see), the monarch
it may well be they are more than happy with things as they are or more probably do not want to 'rock the boat' but as things stand now with this current collection of buffoons, being able to see that there is less chance of it occuring again would be welcome.
That sword apparently weighs 8lb. I set a dumbbell at that to try it. Just 5 minutes and you feel the wrists , pull on shoulders and neck , and that’s without most of the weight being above hand grip level . Good core excercise as well . She held it for over 50 minutes I believe. Great effort Penny .Miss mordaunt even got praise from two, at least, of His Majesty's Loyal Opposition Members --
Labour frontbencher Emily Thornberry said: “Got to say it, Penny Mordaunt looks damn fine! The sword bearer steals the show.” Senior Labour MP Chris Bryant added: “The Penny is mightier than the sword.”
(And I wish I'd thought of that pun)![]()

Bridgerton's Adjoa Andoh called it a 'terribly white' Coronation balcony

Stupidly racist actress, Adjoa Andoh, has caused controversy by labelling the Royal family, posing on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, as a 'terribly white balcony'
I'm not sure what she expected to see from the balcony of Buckingham Palace, some Minstrels perhaps, Martin Luther King, or perhaps Oprah Winfrey ?
What would happen if I referred to her as being 'terribly black' ?
"We have gone from the rich diversity of the Abbey to a terribly white balcony," "I am very struck by that," "I am also looking at those younger generations and thinking: 'What are the nuances that they will inhabit when they grow?'

While we have a, broadly, unwriten Constitution, there are some firm and binding rules that are well understood by Monarch and Parliament.
One is that The Monarch MUST be above Politics. The Crown MUST be politicaly neutral, at least publicly.
The Goverment of The Day, must keep The Crown advised of its policies.
The Crown may advise The Goverment, but such advice is in no way binding.
There are idications, over the years, of Monarchs doing just what you ask, with mixed results.
George V was told by his Liberal PM to create enough Peers to get the budget through the upper house.
George thought that this was a bad idea, but after more 'discusion', did as he was told.
George V1 advised Churchill not to apoint someone to his cabinet. WSC ignored him.
Queen Elizabeth has, it seems, a very serious falling out with Margret Thatcher over her support for South Africa.
HM had to back off.
No doubt there are many other instances that I don't know about.
In THEORY, there are people to do what you want -simply showing that the thoughts of the people should be followed...it would be nice to think that someone with a bit of sway is looking after us all.
They are called MP's.
But as we saw in Sunderland, after the Brexit Referenda they can turn a deaf ear when they feel like it.
