At the moment just a small amount of the ball has to touch the quadrant
Why not all of the ball inside the quadrant and none out
Makes more sense ????

It does make me laugh when opposition players and supporters go absolutely ballistic if the ball looks fractionally outside ...

... it's going to be kicked half the width of the pitch ffs <laugh>

Isn't that why VAR didn't rule the scums cross as the ball being out. A Mm was overhanging the line ffs.
Can understand why Arsenal were a bit upset.
Correct, whole of the ball didn't look over the line. What probably pissed them off more was the two handed push in the back on the defender on the goal line. Prevented him from jumping and challenging for the ball. The skunk attacker looked guilty as sin as Gordon scored.

same, i laugh when they struggle to position it at the furthest point they can, it is not like an extra inch will gain a greater distance of travel...'clearly within the quadrant' is a simple rule, easy to police and we lose the crowd screaming at the ref to have a look at it.
