I don't know a corner shop not owned by a white Irish person round my neck of the woods. Who's taking over?

There's no law stopping you opening a corner shop Huth. Up at the crack of dawn for the papers standing behind a counter all day trying to spot the shoplifters and getting dogs abuse for knocking the local dipso back for strap wouldn't really be up my street though.

If your that concerned go to a supermarket... Don't know why you would possibly consider trading at a 'good honest' place like a corner shop run by foreign owners who have 'the same right' to be here as you do.

 

You have a point, but are unfortunately talking to the kind of people who cannot afford a car to get to the supermarket because they have never worked an honest day in their lives so have to go to the corner shop and pay inflated prices. They then have a grudge against the people who are up early working hard to provide them with a service.

This is not the case with everyone but I would say it is a valid point.

My dad had two corner shops at the same time and he's white.

we had 3 cornershops, selling different stuff where i grew up and they were all owned by white people

in the good old days they were shut at 5, 12 on a wednesday

they got sold due to 'supermarkets are destroying us' which meant shoite we're going to have to work harder to earn a good living

asians took over, opened from 6 am to 10pm and are doing fine, more supermarkets have opened, it literally takes you 5 minutes to walk to the city centre

but these guys are doing ok

its all about work ethic and these guys just have more
