Carlos Corberan quits as Huddersfield Town manager.
Good news. That means they're back to being utter dross again.
They’re one of the favourites to go down for me now, might finally go to Huddersfield away and watch us win though
Great beer in the station pubs. But recently once you leave the day turns to ****e
Seen the 'antics' of some that are on the Ale Trail there, if football fans behaved in the same way the tabloids would have a field day.
A bit of a surprise being half way through pre-season, I wonder if he has got another job lined up already. He has done a good job for them, they will be gutted to see him go.
I did a few of the stations on the ale trail. Loved it
He hasn't got another job lined up, he's just pissed off they wouldn't go after the signings he wanted.
Article said he quit without another job to go to because he was concerned by the owners lack of vision about the future.
Has Sean dyche got a job yet?
I didn't hear it from him but I heard he's a Town Cryer.
Sometimes they say that then low and behold a few days later they are announced as a new manager somewhere. Most people don't quit a job before they get another one, but then again I guess football is an unusual business.
I'd be surprised if he went for that, I would have thought another EPL gig would have been his aim.
Huddersfield's first game is against... Burnley. Come on Sean Dyche, you know it makes sense.
The second part is key. Most people who live paycheque to paycheque don’t quit jobs without another lined up. If you’re financially secure enough though, it gives you some wiggle room to have a breather.
Suppose in football sometimes it's better sitting back and letting clubs come to you as you can have a pick if you've just had a good season. Like Cooper did on leaving Swansea.
Steve Bruce day jar view.
Hudders could be in for a few years of pain.
Allams were ****s but it’s not like they didn’t back Bruce in the transfer windows.
The window Bruce walked they didn't back him at all.
True but it’s not like they were being stingy in that window. They shelled out £13 million for Mason.
Who were the targets Bruce wanted that window but the Allams said no? I forget.
