That it is. I've read some complaining of the title of "we" saying "fans shouldn't refer to themselves as we! 'We' didn't win a trophy, the team did" but I strongly disagree. Look at Southampton now, and then look at Southampton 10 years ago. The only thing that's still the same is the ground and the fans, and then if you look 15 years ago then even the stadium's changed. Fans are the longest running part of the club and have every right to refer to themselves as part of the collective "we", I think. I'd never be able to use "we" to describe another club because I'm not a part of that other club, I'm not part of the fanbase, I'm not a proper supporter. Though, I do use it for teams in other sports, but that's different.
