Vaughan, Larsson, Gardner, Bardsley, Dossena, Ji, Westwood and Colback all have only one season left on their contracts

Would expect Colback, Westwood and maybe Seb to sign new ones

Then we've also got Borini, Ki and Celustka who's loans expire. Celustka we'll hopefully sign. We'll also hopefully sign Ki if he does well. But even if Borini is good we've no chance of sigining him

We're starting to get rid of all the rubbish we've been carrying for years and although this will be hard to swallow I think this season is a transitional one. Next season deadwood like Bardsley will be off and we'll bring in younger better players to improve the squad and starting 11.

As my mate Bielefeld Bill says, "with all these loans maybe we should be sponsored by wonga"

Im not a fan of Larsson or Gardner but id offer them a year extension just so we don't lose them for nothing. Colback id try and nail down to a three year deal.

Westwood......the jury is out big time for me now. Imo mignolet would have saved Fulhams goal, Southamptons goal and Palaces opener. And the penalty tbh.

Mig only saved one penalty in all his time with us - as for the Palace Opener - how can Westwood be blamed for that?? It hit a defender then bounced off Gabbidon into the net - I actulayy think the only way a keeper would've saved it would be if he was standing where the ball dropped. I rate Westwood very highly and think we'd have conceded 0 goals against MK if he'd started -their 2 goals were terrible to concede. Palace penalty is a different story completely - it was very close to Westwood who dived over the top - if Mig had been playing he may have dived the other way or anything and penalties - where keepers are concerned - are a lottery - if you save them then great but if you don't then the oppo is expected to score so it doesn't really matter.

Got a feeling Gardener will get a new contract. Cost 5m and can't let him go for free. He also just moved in to his newly built house last week. Be suprised if something wasn't on the table. Vaughan, Larsson, Ji and Bardo can take a hike.Keep Colback in the squad. as for the loans Celustka has had acanny start. No idea what to expect from the two italians and hope the Korean is some way better than the one we have already.

Don't forget we've still got january to move players out and bring some in. Clearly wages have been a problem in moving deadwood on.

The club should offer Bardsley round for nothing

He's not gonna play. No one wants to pay for him and he's going for nothing at the end of the season

May as well get him off the wage bill now

The bastard will want to stay though and get his wages.

the club should make him do hard labour around the training ground/SOL picking up litter, making teas etc and say it is all part of a new rehab training regime...

Think Bardsley will be sacked to be honest. Really hope so anyway.

If he is he wouldn't be able to sign for a new club until January as he wasn't a free agent when the deadline passed. The lad is an idiot.

I didn't know that. That would be really kicking him in the nuts if the club did that!

He's had his chance for a move all summer and probably didn't want to drop his wages

I honestly think he's decided to sit in the reserves all season so he gets his ridiculous wage for one more season. Knob

    Agree.
Interesting point on the penalty the young lad was honest enough to admit that he miskicked the penalty which fooled the keeper. <ok>

Wrong. I think you underestimate how difficult it is to come and claim the ball. The ball in was met at the near post on the edge of the 6 yard box. Had he went to claim there's no way he'd have gotten near it
