Derek Adams has said the he will be starting contract talks very soon when given the go-ahead.

His squads contracts finish this summer and it is important to sort that out soon or they could all walk away at the end of the season.

Awaiting the nod???????? He should have started this before the window opened. Brent doesn't get urgency does he or that he who waits loses. I would have thought the loanee situation last season would have taught him something. Get your business head off and your digit out of your arse Mr Brent........please (just to be polite). This is football not global banking.

Not starting another pro/against JB debate but I suspect DA is just waiting to hear what his total budget is- from memory the board meets once a month, so although I am sure DA has already has preliminary discussions with JB and the players , he is just waiting for the funds to be formally signed over..

My point is they should get their act together, the Board that is, and get on with it and there should be no waiting for anything at this stage. Nothing to do with a pro/anti Brent thing for me just plain commonsense and the way to run a football club successfully. Must the Titanic Wardroom routine if they have to stick to their "once a month" garbage.

It does seem a bit odd and I would be amazed if most of the deals haven't already been sorted out , if not actually signed. Always all sorts of rubbish paper talk during the window. Might be that DA is trying to put other clubs off or maybe to see if there is any interest early in the window. Really don't know what the situation is but am sure all will be sorted soon enough.
