When looking at our squad here and out on loan and the issues around who brought them in and when we can get rid etc. I looked at some stuff from the YEP but can see players like Ekuban and Ideguchi who are not listed as well as Rey, Bouy, Dalby, Balboa, Stjruick and Sarkick and a few more, but at least the list gives us an idea of what s going to happen soon with the main squad.. Have a look and give your own opinions on if we should keep or bin them and I've added a bit at the bottom to reflect Orta's success rate which doesn't include the players missing. Most of the garbage is binned out in the Summer ..... 2019 Huffer Y 2020 Roofe Pablo Y Dallas N Klich Y BPF Y Berardi N Stevens Y Sacko N Coyle N O'Connor N Anita N 2021 Phillips Y Alioski Y Douglas Y Ayling Y Cooper Y Shackelton Y Clarke Y Davis Y Ed'dson Y Saiz N O'Kane N Grot Y Nessy Y Cibicki N LDB N 2022 Pontus Y Bamford Y Forshaw Y Halme Y Pearce Y Roberts Y Wilks N 2023 Casilla Y I estimate that Orta has a 72% strike rate but obviously some may think differently and of course if money comes in for the ones we dont want well that strike rate increases as long as a profit made.
How do you know we will make a profit?. After wages and the value to the club what amount is left?. Ayling is crap and ive thought that for ages.
Here's my take. It's what I think will happen, not necessarily what I'd like to happen: Will deffo keep (18): Huffer, Roofe, Pablo, Klich, BPF, Berardi, Phillips, Alioski, Cooper, Shackelton, Clarke, Edmondson, Pontus, Bamford, Forshaw, Halme, Roberts, Casilla. Will deffo get rid (12): Dallas, Sacko, Coyle, O'Connor, Anita, Saiz, O'Kane, Nessi, Cibicki, De Cock, Wilks, Ideguchi (if fit enought to go). Sold if a decent offer comes in (3): Ayling, Douglas, Grot. Perhaps another season to assess (3): Stevens, Pearce, Davis.
For me. If we don't go up this season, Pontus will definitely be sold (ask for a transfer) and Clarke will be sold, Saiz fee already agreed.
If we don't go up deffo losing Pontus and Phillips and Clarke all for top money to fund another go at it...
