I'll leave it to others to decide who's who.

I dunno, I'm partial to the idea of the team running out to this

Coincidentally, that is what it sounds like in Cuti Romero's head 24/7

Not to be confused with what it sounds like in Erik Lamela's head 24/7, which is this...

Or the soundtrack in my head when the Downing Street gates come down...

Just read that Conte has tested positive to Covid after Saturday's game but should be back in the dugout for Saturday

I think it was originally said by Gerald Nabbaro, after a very dodgy driving incident or words to that effect

Apparently Paratici is looking for a number two, presumably to replace Hitchen.

Gotta feeling it’s gonna be a busy one for us this summer too which is why he might want someone to relieve his workload.

Considering he was Beppe Marotta's numero due for fourteen years at Sampdoria and Juve, it makes sense that he's looking to mirror that setup where one is focused on incomings and the other focused on outgoings

...just as long as Paratici doesn't get shanked by his right hand man as happened to Marotta in 2018

Dan KP says Paratici is close to appointing his number two albeit not said who. If I were in his shoes I’d be looking at staff from clubs like Ajax, Dortmund, Salzburg, Dinamo Zagreb etc, clubs who’ve continuously shown the ability to spot young/ lesser known talent before others.

Sounds like a revamp of the scouting dept is in full swing though what with Hitchen and Carey’s departures, KP does say though that whilst Carey’s role stated “head of recruitment” it was somewhat of a glorified name tag.

Good to get some fresh approaches in though in my opinion, I don’t actually think our scouting was too bad but our decision making on who to actually purchase out of the scouted options was.

I really hope Paratici works on improving the youth setup too, we’ve got one of the upper tier academies in England and yet our path to the first team for young players has been poor to say the least for a number of years now. Improvements also needed with regards to the decisions in developmental loans, too many of our decent/ good prospects have been sent on awful loans in recent years.

Even the young players brought in over the last few years have been a disaster. We've signed Juan Foyth, Ryan Sessegnon, Jack Clarke, Bryan Gil and Pape Mata Sarr for something like £85m. They've contributed precious little to the first team and have been loaned out to very little effect and no/minimal discernible improvement.

Sessegnon’s been the only real huge flop of those though. I thought he was a really good signing at the time too and really wanted it to work out for him but the guy’s been abysmal, injuries haven’t helped but there’s something with him that isn’t clicking here.

I think Clarke was just a random punt and at £10m never broke out bank. I can see why we signed him as our bread and butter used to be young, cheap British prospects but it’s safe to say he won’t turn out another Lennon/ Huddlestone. Hasn’t helped though that two of his loans were ****.

Foyth was sold for a small profit and at times looked like he could be a real player, I’m just not sure Prem football suited him.

Gil is a massive talent and one that should get chances when he returns, a Spain international at 21 is no easy feat. Prior to his loan we badly under-utilised him and when we did we chucked him on the right <doh>.

Sarr’s another like Gil, both of these were watched and chased by many of Europe’s elite, signing them were big coups for the club. I think he’ll need another loan next season but I’m very excited and optimistic about his and Gil’s futures, they could be huge players in time and ideally that’ll be with us.
