Him and de Vrij seem to alternate weeks of being which Inter CB gets linked with us, Gleison’s name pops up too. Surprised Romagnoli’s name doesn’t get more attention; freebie in the summer, Italian, CB, lefty… seems ideal for Paratici/ Conte. Romero, Dier and Skriniar makes a very solid looking back three though.
I'd say actions tend to say otherwise though, barely featured since his Boro disasterclass and when Skipp’s back he’s fourth choice, fifth choice in the summer if a CM arrives. Think he's only played because opportunities have presented themselves by way of injuries and not having Bentancur pre-Jan, there's also more often than not been notable poor performances from the CM duo when he's generally been one of them, Hojbjerg is so much better alongside Bentancur or Skipp. Very tough seeing a future for him beyond this season (thankfully), Ally Gold mentioned similar in a recent article of his. I think he and Bergwijn are as good as gone if offers come in, along with Ndombele and Lo Celso.
Being linked with Fulham too, somewhat strangely. Haven't seen a ton of him, but he's supposed to be suited to playing in a low block.
De Vrij would play in Dier's position, while Romagnoli has (randomly) been linked with Fulham in the last few days Considering that Fulham's role these days seems to be making us thankful that we dodged a bullet, with Jean Michael Seri and Joachim Andersen as the most obvious examples, my immediate thought is to count how many legs Romagnoli has
Can somebody hand Satan a shovel, he needs one to dig down to just how subterranean this choice of sources are...
Fabio Paratici "Our project is to rebuild the club, rebuild the team, be competitive in the long-term and be competitive every season and to do the best for this club now and in the future. So balance is the right word". "Two months ago everyone of us was pessimistic. At the moment it's the opposite. We are in a much better position than we are 4 or 5 months ago".

Just watched Conte cam loved that moment when Bergwijn is in on goal and Conte jus knows he’s already celebrating lovin his energy
I love that he is still directing and pushing the team when we are 4 - 1 up. If you did not know the score you might think we were behind.
He loves the game, simple as. Maureen by contrast loves himself, simple as. While Nuno had the manner of a man who'd just been told his best friend had been hit by a truck and he needed to get to the hospital straight after the match.
Conte is constantly communicating with the players, particularly the wingbacks. I assume it's because they're a key position that isn't quite right yet, but it's continual. I don't know if it's to make up for a lack of leadership in the team or something. We can be winning comfortably and he'll still find things that aren't right, which is what should happen.
Apparently Ronaldo vetoed Utd’s move to get Conte back in October. Ronaldo, secretly fully COYS. Also, Conte apparently tested positive for Covid over the weekend but the club expect him to be in the dugout for the Brighton match.
I can’t remember the player (may have been de Vrij but nowhere near sure) but they said in a article that Conte loves orchestrating everything from the touch line and that he expects/ demands his players to do as he instructs. Takes a lot of hard work from players and manager I’d imagine but it’s evidently been a successful method based on his success over the years.
