I think most will agree that we have been excellent this season so far, for me, we have deserved something from every game, even in the games we have lost, bar the Burton fiasco. Nigel Pearson is doing a wonderful job, and tbh, i didn't expect a Pearson team to look as good going forward, but the movement/effort of everyone so far has been class. Our form at the moment is right up there, and as "promotion contenders" so it should, if we play the same way all season, i cant see many teams upsetting us. Many say that the international break has come at the wrong time, but with all the injuries/fitness worries against Bristol City, we have been fortunate that it has come now imo. The key issue for many seasons has been our consistency and this has ruled us out of contention to be anywhere near the top 2 for the last couple of seasons. Once this current streak of games stops, because eventually it has to unfortunately, do you think we will be able to regain the consistency to win more back to back games? or will we fall back into our old W-L-D regime?
Your Bound to hit a bad patch sooner or later just as every team in football does ... But you WILL finish in the top 6 it's impossible to say anyone is nailed on for automatic promotion . But you have a decent chance . NP will only improve your squad when he gets the right player / players come along . I am 100% sure that IF he had stayed at HULL CITY then last season we would have finished in the top 6 .. At the same time I believe Steve Bruce will also get us into a top 6 position and again who knows ! Going to be a good season for both our teams...
of course this run has to end at some time and I would settle for a repeat of our 23 match unbeaten run in l1
They´ll be a loud silence when it does finish, will it be the start of irregular pattens ??? it´ll be like a dark light coming over us. Hull fans will love that.
The players will be raring to go after the international break. lets just hope they carry on this good form.
Consistency and the foxes are two words that rarely go together! The difference this time is Pearson as got them playing for each other by getting rid of the so called stars and trouble makers, we will lose some games! but we will win a lot more, End of season we will be in top three.
