Our league position and the fact we've still only lost one game is quite remarkable really. It's quite a list of players we have been without (and still are in some cases). Zamora, Onouha, Carroll, Krancjar, O'neill and now poor Ali Faurlin all currently missing through injury. Not only that but Phillips, Johnson and Hoillett have all had periods on the sidelines this season. It's testament to the strength of the group that we can absorb injuries to so many key players and still be where we are.
Maybe I'm mistaken, but seeing lists of players missing due injury from various Clubs from time to time, our list looks only about average.
You know what, I fail to see any team who has had more injuries than us in the last 5 years. Surely something is wrong. Training? Medical team? Hiring already crocked players? A combination of these?
I dont know about "hopefully" but you can bet they will. Fairly sure they will slip down the league a bit come Xmas. Id be very suprised if any team can sustain that level of play for an entire season. The've got to tire, pick up knocks & bookings and have a bad spell. Having said that they were worthy winners over us.
