Consider this ............... last year we beat Stoke twice, with a lessor quality squad. In truth, the difference between last years' squad and this years' squad is massive, with one major exception. Player confidence. It is now at an all time low. How can we extract a quick change in player attitude? Cut our losses and sack the manager. Then the players, for what ever reason, can and will have a change in mindset, not to mention us fans.
Every manager has a used by date and MH has reached that point. Nobody wanted this but the time has come. You can just smell it in the air. Look at the body language of the players, the reaction from the fans. It's inevitable after such a shocking run of results. Fresh face and new ideas is the only way out of this mess.
Yeah agreed, He's been given everything he asked for to do the job..complete free reign and total control and it hasnt worked. Time to move on and give someone else a chance. I'm no Warnock fan but he did better under more difficult circumstances. Time for change i think
We are in exactly the same 'mind-set' as we were under Paul Hart, in came Neil Warnock and the positivity flowed from there. Once a manager has reached that point at which he's clearly lost the players AND the fans it's a nosedive that has only one outcome. At the moment TF's stubborn pride is clouding the obvious solution...
The only factor slightly against that is that they are still making good opportunities at times and still look gutted when the balls don't go in. Not disagreeing too strongly though. IN fact not disagreeing at all - just an observation.
Would it be fair to say that the reason for 'still making good opportunities' is because we have a much better team? Unfortunately, the confidence is shot ............ pity the manager isn't.
