Big signing for us - well he is 6' 3" - another striker, aged 21, on loan until the end of the season incl. the playoffs (if we make it ) from Bolton Wanderers. He can't make his debut for us until after Easter. Don't get too excited though, he has a career record; mainly out on loan; of 6 goals in 48 matches. Still, he might be more of a goal scoring threat than Michael Smith..........
Happy Easter Wooperts!! Have you noticed anything about Paul Cook's signings? None of them are black. Has he got something against them given the numbers that are playing? If I was Pompey manager I would scour the South London leagues for footballing talent, There must be a lot on unearthed diamonds. Instead we end up with this goose!!!

Scout these leagues where there is an ocean of untapped talent. If these guys are good enough for Palace why are they not good enough for Pompey? Instead Pompey get the likes of Smith and Wilkinson who are as productive as neutered tomcats!!
I dont think Cook is a racist......undoubtedly there is talent out side of the FL, from all races, but Cook is using players he has watched/ has experience of......that is all!
Not sure on his latest addition though, has promised much but delivered little...............through injury!
