..........Are we bothered we didn't get him? We've been linked with him for some time and I understand he grew up a Liverpool supprter. So are we bothered, and if so, what do we think went wrong?

I'm slighty disappointed. I can see him becoming an excellent player. He's got potential and I can see him fulfilling it. I'm sure the club has other targets so I suspect we will move on. I wish the lad all the best.
Blimey King. That's a heavy assault. I'm well aware he went to Sunderland. I wanted to know whether we didn't think he was worth what the mackems paid, and what ramifications this has with respect to other possible transfers. My personal view is that we are now conducting transfer business as we did in the halcyon days - that is we don't know jack until Kenny tells us - sod the rumours. I'm sorry I upset you.
