    For anyone who hasn't seen, got a brace today against league leaders as Sheff Weds won 2-1. First was a blinder although I'm not entirely convinced he meant the second! All good for the lads confidence though, and that makes it 4 in 5 for him this season for the Owls - there may be hope for the lad yet?

    never given a full chance with us of a run of 5-8 games

    think he could be fantastic for us but people judge him on nothing

    However, 4 managers have watched him now, suggests something in training...

    does it on the pitch!

    I don't rate him in the slightest but those are two cracking goals.

    Imho he'll be a prem player in a few years.

    Was a idiotic buy from Bruce at the time, as we aren't a league topping team who can afford to spend 8m on a player that won't be needed for a while.

    Another season on loan next year in the championship will do him the world of good

    yep. i hope he comes good, but that was a bonkers purchase at the time given our predicament. sadly, he may not come good with us, but i hope to **** he does. would be nice to have more, proper options up front in time.

    I really supported this kid and hoped he would turn into the real deal for us. But I'm afraid after 4 managers and a few opportunites (not many to be fair) he just hasn't cut the mustard. I would have hoped he would have grasped his chance when Fletch was crocked..simply didn't happen...As Cest says, I think he has found his level. Given our current plight and the chances of us going down, it might be a smart move to hang on, I think he will score a hat full in the Championship

    I still blame us tbh, we'll never know what he could have been as we couldn't be arsed to develop him. Short spells on loan, unavailable for most reserve games due to first team bench warming. Training isn't enough to develop kids. If he was too good for our development squad then he should have been out on season long loans. The lad quite simply hasn't played enough games.

    Good for the championship, if thats where we end up.

    So, in that case, hope he is surplus to requirements come May
