    I know we're after experienced strikers but the lad is gonna be class in this league one day just feel we could miss out!

    I would rather him than Shane Long
    And 4m is the quoted price.

    If we weren't on the verge of signing Jelavic, then maybe. I'd sooner see that £4m towards a proven PL striker.

    He's a different type of striker to Long and we have enough un-mobile players and we could really do with another striker with pace.

    How long have people been saying he's going to be class?

    What has he ever actually done? He wasn't even one of Ipswich's best players when he got snapped up to the PL by Brucie of all people.

    To be fair, he's scored 8 in 10 at Sheff Wed this season and he's still only 20. Not what we need at the minute but I think he'll turn out to be a decent top level striker.

    I would like a striker that wants to play for Hull City, and I am not sure whether Long wants to. If he was that desperate surely he would be pushing for a move, knowing that he probably won't be offered a new contract at West Brom at the end of the season and that we have made it publicly known that we want him. I just hope that Long is not somebody who is happy to be a player who is in and out of the squad happy to pick up a wage packet. If he wants to come great, otherwise I would look somewhere else now instead of waiting until the end of the transfer window and missing out altogether. I am not sure if Wickham would be our answer right now, however in Bruce I trust!

    He's starting to fiulfill the promise he showed at 17. Doesn't always happen for talented kids immediately, but I reckon it will for him very soon. Big strong lad and a natural goalscorer. £4 million could turn out to be a great piece of business for someone.
