Unless that guy can play right back as well (the article mentions selling a right back) it probably means they don't think they can sign him on a permanent. I'd guess when we go down Figueroa gets released and Townsend comes back as back up to Robertson. (who then gets poached by someone at the back end of August in Michael Turner style and we're left desperately looking for a first choice)
Is he going to get game time with us? It seems strange he wouldn't have stayed with them, he was getting game time and they seemed to like him over there.
Maybe be wrong but I seem to remember reading that Dundee just bought a player that plays in his position.

Fell out with manager which is why they got Dixon in to replace him. Looked a decent player the few times I seen him.
Yea that's true. It just seems a little strange to pay for a player when you had cover in that position. Plus you tend to have to overpay in January so you probably over paid for a position you had cover for when you could have gone out and improved on some other position or waited tell the summer.
Ok so we have a player with professional experience in League 1 and the SPL. He's 22 soon. We've got no cup games left. Is he gonna go out on loan in the emergency window? Or are we just gonna let him rot like all our promising youngsters?
