Well done Saints <ok>. It really was a great performance from you and one I must say I wasn't expecting. Your team had better be preparing for the return leg, as I'm sure we'll have revenge in mind ;). Hopefully then you'll get to see the real Leeds United and a Robert Snodgrass who justifies his price tag. Good luck for the rest of the season apart from at ER.

cheers Simon, were you at the game? as your fans were excellent, and kept the chanting going even though there was precious little on the pitch to cheer them up. I am expecting a more even match for the return leg.

Thanks Buddy I know a lot of you were bitterly disappointed yesterday. Had our lads played so badly we too would be disappointed. See you later in the season and we will give you the chance to get your revenge. <ok>

Cheers Simon. Obviously you didn't notice our performances in League One last season. After our usually conventional slow start, which left us trailing way behind the rest, we caught them all, except Brighton, who were only 3 points ahead at the end. Into the New Year, the lads really got their fingers out and bossed most games.

So, although I was delighted, I wasn't exactly surprised by Saints' performance on Saturday. And your lot have not become a bad team overnight either. I suspect your next opponents will see the more recognisable Leeds Utd.

Is Michael Brown going to try and kick and elbow us off the park again then?

In all seriousness, cheers. Thoroughly outplayed though. :)

Cheers Simon, Our finishing was so clinical that the score line flattered us somewhat in what was a well contested match. You may not be very happy but I think we'll be pretty evenly placed by the end of the season and the Leeds players kept going till the end which is encouraging.

If given the space and the ball in the right areas Gradel & Snodgrass will win you plenty of games

you're being courteous, right? We dominated them and the fact that they scored flatters them greatly.

Simon, What the hell has your board doing signing Michael Brown?! He will lose you points not win them. Truely awful player.

Good Luck for the season anyway, and i'm sure that at Elland Road it will be more of an even game.

Try telling that to the lot on our board!

I stand by the sentiment of what I said last night but possibly failed to get across that you deserved the win on account of the fact that you defended brilliantly and were extremely clinical, whereas our defence was as leaky as the titanic and our attack couldn't hit a massive barn door with a laser guided banjo. I think our attacking problems were down to 1. Becchio was a bigger miss than I expected. and 2. Our key players, Snodgrass and Gradel, failed to perform, in fact I think I can honestly say it was the worst performance Snoddy has ever put in in a Leeds shirt. I think my posts last night were really a reaction to our lot who have decided the season's over after the one game, rather than any criticism of your performance which was excellent, you really handled the occasion, which we failed to do last year.

Leeds fans were immense throughout the game as they have been during your slide down the leagues. Same as our fans. I was pleased to see that Saints could win playing the same way as they did last season, but know that there will be tougher games out there, especially come the winter. 'Saints are racehorses who don't like the mud.' Good luck for rest of season, except against us at ER.

I've just always tried to respond positively after losses. I always look at what we did well and how we can improve rather than dwelling on the reasons we actually lost, that's for the management to do. I just think that sometimes Leeds fans forget the song is called "Marching On Together" not "Moaning Like Little Girls and Overreacting Because We Lost a Game... Together".

Was v impressed with Leeds fans, Northam stand was non stop back n forth, absolutely rocking. On the fans alone they deserve to be there or there abouts this season.

i gott eh train back to London after with about 30 of them in my carraige, and I was the lone Saint, was much fun lol

    Bring on Barnsley.
